Care and Support
Jesus said ‘Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest,’ (Mark 11:28).
God is love and one of the ways we want to show this is by intentionally loving one another, especially by helping and supporting eachother when life is challenging for some reason and extra help is needed.
Please get in touch with us if you would like support about anything and we will do our best to help. It could be for any reason and might be associated with a bereavement, or loss of any kind, or needing help to get to medical appointments, or mental wellbeing, or questions around faith, or something joyful but hard work like a new baby...
We can pray with you and for you, offer appropriate support confidentially or help you to access professional care, and we are very happy to help out in practical ways. There are specific groups to help people who have been bereaved, who need help with their mental wellbeing, who would benefit from the support of fellow parents and who would value social interaction, as well as several discipleship groups who will warmly welcome new members interested in growing in faith.
For more information or to access care and support please contact Revd Jo Morris via the church office or on
curate2@stmarysb.org.uk
If prayer is needed in an emergency, there is a ring of prayer. Contact Rev Jennifer Hall on 0117 982 2863 or any of the other clergy.
