- Monday to Saturday, 9am - 5pm
You are welcome to come along to our Sunday morning services in person or you can join us via Zoom.
Please do read the Latest News document on our gradual easing of restrictions
During August we will have one 10.00am Holy Communion for everyone service both in church and online.
From 5th September:
We have two worship services each Sunday morning with an alternating format at 10.30am. Our new Together@4 and Explore@4 service will alternate at 4pm every week. The Sunday services are each different and designed to enable everyone to find something that suits their needs.
9:00am, Traditional Holy Communion Service
The 9am is a more traditional Church of England service. We sing hymns accompanied by a choir and organ and follow a set pattern each week. This service lasts an hour.
10:30am, Worship for Everyone/Communion for Everyone
The 10.30 is our main service and has activities specifically aimed for children available at each service. We have a two weekly pattern. On Week A for our Worship for Everyone service we will have SHINE on Sundays, our children and youth groups, in the hall for some of the service and on Week B we will worship all together with Holy Communion. The singing is led by a band and we sing a mixture of hymns and more contemporary songs. This service is more informal than the 9am and has many children, families and people of all ages and at all stages of life. This service is usually finished around 11.45.
4pm - alternating each week from 5th September
This is a new expression of worship for Sunday afternoons at 4pm. Open to all, it is particularly relevant to adults aged 14 and upwards. There will be sung worship, whole group and smaller group discussion, a chance to listen to other's stories and pray. We will also share communion together twice a term.
Explore@4 where we explore a bible story or passage in creative ways is held fortnightly from 4-5pm. The church will be largely cleared of chairs and households will be invited to sit together as an 'island'. After listening to a Bible story together, there will be the opportunity to explore the theme in different zones, using some questions as a prompt. Depending on what you enjoy doing you might choose to reflect using various craft materials, or paper and pencils, or you may prefer to visit the Discussion Zone and talk your thoughts through. There will be Lego, Duplo, and other construction materials for busy fingers that like doing and a space for those that prefer to sit quietly. After this time of exploring and reflecting, there will be a chance to share and learn from one another, ending with a time of prayer and music.
If you have any questions about our Worship Services or need to get in touch with us about any other enquiry we will be happy to help. Please Contact Us for more information and for Zoom log-in details.
